This under-rated activity has many benefits -
It is Fun, Challenging and Safe. Over all, our bodies become buoyant in the water, thus, making this form of activity, non-weight bearing. This reduces the risk of injuries to joints – ankles, knees, hips, lower back and shoulders. Water fitness is also beneficial for post-rehabilitation patients. Participants will tone and shape up much quicker, as more calories are burned in Water Fitness as muscles are forced to work harder due to the resistance of the water. Flexibility and balance are improved as we are able to work through a full range of motion in the water. Take the plunge, start splashing, the Water Fitness Way!
